About Storytime Owls
Stories That Keep Families Connected
At Storytime Owls, we believe some of life's most meaningful moments happen during storytime.
A familiar voice reading a favorite book.
A grandparent sharing a special message.
A child hearing words of encouragement before bedtime.
These moments create connection, build confidence, and become treasured memories that last far beyond childhood.
Storytime Owls was created to help families stay connected through the power of storytelling, whether they live in the same home, across town, or across the country. Through our growing collection of children's books and our mobile app, families will be able to share stories, record personal messages, and create a library of memories that children can revisit again and again.
Meet the Goodhearts
Ellie Goodheart
Ellie Goodheart is a pen name that was inspired by my grandparents. I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. There is nothing that means more to me than God and my family. I find joy in promoting family values, creating new things, and laughing until tears run down my face.
Doc Goodheart
Doc is a pen name that pays tribute to an older generation of our family. What we have today was at a cost and due to the efforts of the generations before us. I hope the books and your experience with Storytime Owls foster respect and love between children and extended families.

Tommy Sutanto
I'm Tommy, a children's book illustrator with a passion for sparking imagination and wonder in young readers. Since childhood, I've been captivated by the magic of storytelling and the power of visual art to transport us to fantastical worlds.
My journey as an illustrator began from my hometown in Semarang, Indonesia
with doodles in the margins of my school notebooks and evolved into a lifelong pursuit of creativity. I studied media arts and animation in USA, honing my skills mostly in digital illustration. Through experimentation and exploration, I discovered my love for bringing characters and scenes to life.

Artist
Jon Larter
I’m Jon, an illustrator from the UK. I love drawing of all kinds, especially humour and learning something new each day. As a child I grew up enjoying the pictures in my comics and books, so to be able to pass that on by creating my own artwork now for children’s books is a wonderful feeling.
My work is a mix of hand drawn and digital painting, but I also enjoy working in pencil crayon and acrylics. Seeing the subjects and characters come to life is something I never get tired with. I’d encourage anyone to draw, no matter your age or the subject, just enjoy it and let your imagination flow.

Artist
Red Fernando
Hi friends, I’m Red, a children's book illustrator with a passion for illustrating vibrant and imaginative worlds, not just for, but mainly for, children. I am also an architecture student from the Philippines, who knows a lot about design that helps me create better and more aligned visuals.
Creating children's books brings me a deep sense of fulfillment—it’s a process I genuinely enjoy and one that helps me unwind as I immerse myself in crafting colorful characters and playful scenes. There’s something magical about knowing my work can inspire kids to reach their fullest creativity and spark their imagination. For me, every illustration is a joyful opportunity to bring stories to life and help children explore new possibilities!
